In 2023, Yordak was appointed EyeBio’s Vice President of Clinical Operations. In this role, he provides strategic operational direction, management, and execution of the clinical programs. Yordak brings more than 20 years of global clinical operations and management experience within biotech companies at different stages of development, with a focus in ophthalmology. Most recently, he served as an Executive Director of Clinical at Iveric Bio, where he played a key role in the development and approval of Izervay® (pegcetacoplan) for the treatment of geographic atrophy. He has held previous clinical leadership positions at Ophthotech, Gensight, BridgeBio, and Eyetech Pharmaceuticals. Additionally, he has provided consultation to numerous other biotech companies regarding the development and implementation of clinical projects.
Yordak earned his BS in Biological Sciences from Rutgers University and his MS from Northeastern University.
